Moonshine Runners formed in 2012, when Tim Barratt (guitarist) and Chrissii Wing (lead vocals) from Shropshire band Shebangg joined together with multi-instrumentalists Rob Cooper (Cooper & Davies) and Graham Clews (Graham Clews Band / Thunder Daze).

Inspired by a love of vintage and modern country/folk/rock  including Old Crow Medicine Show, Mumford & Sons, Fleetwood Mac, The Band and the Avett Brothers, the band's unique sound includes 4 part vocal harmonies (all four members share lead vocals) and a wide range of instrumentation including; Banjo, Mandolin, Steel Guitar, Acoustic guitar, Dobro, Harmonica, Bass and Drums.

Moonshine Runners perform a mix of original and cover material, including unique take on songs such as Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Landslide’, Snow Patrol’s ‘Chasing Cars’ and ‘Wagon Wheel’ by Old Crow Medicine Show. Moonshine Runners are currently recording their debut CD -  the band's debut single 'Where You Gonna Run' has been featured on BBC Introducing on Radio WM. - Please see a review of this track below from Surge Music (Ryan's Gig Guide)
